The Stanford Entrepreneurship Network is a federation of university programs and student groups offering opportunities for the Stanford community to learn and explore various aspects of entrepreneurship. Member organizations collaborate on events, and meet often to discuss and share new initiatives.
STVP Sparks are workshops on a variety of topics related to entrepreneurship and innovation. Led by Stanford alumni, industry leaders and academic experts, Sparks workshops offer a path to expanding your entrepreneurial mindset and professional network.
EPICENTER National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation: The Epicenter’s mission is to empower U.S. undergraduate engineering students to bring their ideas to life for the benefit of our economy and society. The Epicenter is funded by the National Science Foundation and managed by STVP and VentureWell (formerly NCIIA). Epicenter offers entrepreneurship and innovation programs for engineering faculty and students; partners with leaders in academia and government to build a national entrepreneurship agenda in engineering education; conducts research on higher education models; hosts online classes and resources; and forms communities around entrepreneurship in engineering education. Stanford Ignite: Certificate program that provides the business fundamentals to succeed at any entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial venture.
Stanford Affiliated
Non-profit accelerator for Stanford-affiliated start-ups. In batches of 30 to 40, accepted companies take part in a three-month program that features guest speakers, networking events and workshops. StartX culminates in a demo day where founders present to venture capitalists, press and members of the Stanford community.
In addition to the professional network, StartX founders have the ability to pursue funding from the Stanford-StartX Fund. StartX companies that successfully raise more than $500,000, with at least 30 percent of that money from professional investors, are given the opportunity to raise up to 10 percent of their capital from the StartX Fund. This fact sets the StartX Fund apart from traditional venture capital funds

Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs
Founded in 2010 by Stanford University alumni and venture capitalists Miriam Rivera and Clint Korver, Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs (SA&E) is a Stanford Alumni Association group that seeks to strengthen Stanford’s startup community by fostering relationships among entrepreneurs and alumni investors. Our community approach to the investment process creates diverse opportunities for education, professional development, advising / mentoring, and growing one’s business and investment portfolio. SA&E has helped fund over 20 startups to date, greatly impacting the Silicon Valley landscape.
